After graduating from Officer Candidate School (OCS), Richard became a United States Marine Corps officer. He attended flight school in 1993 and spent 20 years flying aircraft as a Captain/Aircraft Commander in both military and commercial settings, logging an impressive 10,500 flight hours.
Despite his successful career as a pilot, Richard always retained his passion for real estate investing. In 2011, he started a podcast called Dose of Leadership, where he interviewed over 530 inspiring leaders and entrepreneurs. The podcast was a hit, with over 3.5 million downloads to date. Through his interviews, Richard gained insights and perspectives on leadership, entrepreneurship, and investing that would later prove valuable in his real estate career.
